Our ranges of 100% natural products were born out of many years of research into forgotten ancient techniques of preservation of nature’s bounty; before the introduction of synthetic preservatives, or chemical synthetic flavorants.
Many of the techniques are now considered too costly and time consuming for mass production. When you buy an African Aromatic product, you are buying an artisan produced product, steeped in ancient history combined with modern scientific research into each of the ingredients used.
At African Scent we follow the Slow Food philosophy in every step of production.
Products that are not made directly by African Scent are sourced to reflect our own philosophy. Each product sold here is 100% natural, handcrafted and are products of Fair Trade.
